Overview

Disaster Recovery Infrastructure ensures your critical systems and data survive site failures, outages, and disasters, and come back online within the time your business can tolerate. Nexus Compute designs and sources DR solutions, from replication to a secondary site to full failover, aligned to your continuity requirements. The design begins with an unglamorous exercise: listing your systems, deciding which of them the business genuinely cannot run without for a day, and being honest about the order they have to come back in. Almost every system depends on something else (authentication, DNS, a database, a license server), so a recovery plan that restores applications without their dependencies restores nothing usable. From that list come the two numbers everything else follows from: how much data you can afford to lose, which sets the replication method, and how quickly you need to be running, which sets whether the second site holds warm running capacity or cold hardware waiting to be built. Both cost money in proportion to how demanding they are, which is why we scope them per system rather than applying the strictest answer to everything.
