Overview

Backup Infrastructure ensures that whatever happens to your primary systems, your data can be recovered. Nexus Compute designs and sources complete backup solutions (hardware, immutable storage, and the strategy behind them) so your organization can recover quickly from deletion, corruption, ransomware, or failure. The design is driven by the restore rather than the backup. Almost any system can be made to write a copy somewhere; what separates a working backup platform from an expensive one is whether the copy can be read back fast enough, completely enough, and from a copy the attacker could not reach. So we start from the recovery side: which systems have to be back first, how much data you can afford to lose, how long a full restore of your largest system would take across the link it has to cross, and what you would do if the backup console itself were compromised. Capacity follows from retention rather than from the size of the source, and the backup window has to fit the hours the systems are quiet enough to read. For teams running AI infrastructure the same discipline applies to training checkpoints and curated datasets, which are frequently harder to reproduce than the models and are the thing worth protecting.
