It needs Socket LGA 1700 and a board that supports Raptor Lake Entry Server. Socket is absolute — a processor for another socket will not fit whatever else matches — and the board also needs a BIOS level that recognises this stepping. What cooling does the E-2456 6-Core need?

It is a 80W part, so the chassis has to be rated for that at the ambient temperature you run. Dropping a 80W processor into a chassis specified for a lower-wattage bin will throttle under sustained load rather than fail outright, which is harder to diagnose.
