Product overview
This is the Dell 12TB/30TB LTO-8 half height SAS external tape Drive, order code TPG36. Cleaning cartridges, a spare drive and the media itself are all part of the same order, and running out of any of them stops the backup. This is a Half Height drive. Tell us the library and we will quote the consumables with it.
Quote requests are answered within 48 business hours, with availability confirmed before you raise a purchase order rather than after.

What you get ordering this from us
Ordered by part number
TPG36 is what is quoted and TPG36 is what ships; where an alternate code is genuinely the same part we name it rather than swap it silently.
Answered by a human
A quote comes back with the reasoning attached, including the cases where we think you should buy something else.
Media and cleaning quoted together
Cartridges and cleaning tapes are on the same quote, because a drive without them does not back anything up.
Questions buyers ask about this part
Is TPG36 genuine and is the warranty intact?
Yes. Supplied new and unopened, so the manufacturer warranty and firmware update path stay supported. No grey-market stock and no refurbished units sold as new.
Will TPG36 work in my server?
Tell us the library, the backup software version and the oldest cartridge generation you still need to read. Tape reads back further than it writes, and the software support matrix matters as much as the hardware.
Do you accept purchase orders and quote at volume?
Yes. Purchase orders are accepted from qualified organisations, net terms are available on approval, and tiered pricing applies at quantity. Tell us how many you need.
