Product overview
This is the Dell LTO-6 SAS half height external tape Drive, order code JF7JP. Tape generations read back further than they write, so the drive generation has to be chosen against the archive you already hold. This is LTO-6. No substitutions without asking
If we cannot supply the exact code we tell you what we can supply and why, rather than shipping an equivalent and letting you find out.
Questions buyers ask about this part
Is JF7JP genuine and is the warranty intact?
Yes. It ships new in Dell packaging, which is what keeps the warranty and the firmware entitlement valid. Anything we cannot supply that way we tell you about before you order.
Will JF7JP work in my server?
Tell us the library, the backup software version and the oldest cartridge generation you still need to read. Tape reads back further than it writes, and the software support matrix matters as much as the hardware.
Do you accept purchase orders and quote at volume?
Yes, POs from qualified organisations, net terms on approval, and banded pricing once the quantity is worth banding. Send the number and we will price it properly.
