It needs Socket AM5 and a board that supports Raphael (Zen 4). Socket is absolute — a processor for another socket will not fit whatever else matches — and the board also needs a BIOS level that recognises this stepping. Send us the server or board model and we will confirm both before you order.

What cooling does the 4564P 16-Core need?

It is a 170W part, so the chassis has to be rated for that at the ambient temperature you run. Dropping a 170W processor into a chassis specified for a lower-wattage bin will throttle under sustained load rather than fail outright, which is harder to diagnose.
