This is a 3.5" LFF part on 6Gb/s SAS. It fits any bay wired for 6Gb/s SAS with dual-port SAS routing, and the carrier is included so no separate tray is needed. Should I take the 4TB or the 8TB?

They are the same drive with different capacity: identical 6Gb/s SAS, 3.5" LFF and endurance rating. The 8TB gives you 2.0x the capacity per bay.
