What you get ordering this from us
Ordered by part number
BR-MLXE-8-FAN is what is quoted and BR-MLXE-8-FAN is what ships; where an alternate code is genuinely the same part we name it rather than swap it silently.
Compatibility checked
We confirm the part is supported on your platform before it ships, rather than leaving the check to you.
No substitutions without asking
If we cannot supply the exact code we tell you what we can supply and why, rather than shipping an equivalent and letting you find out.
Questions buyers ask about this part
Is BR-MLXE-8-FAN genuine and is the warranty intact?
Yes. It ships new in Brocade (now Extreme Networks) packaging, which is what keeps the warranty and the firmware entitlement valid. Anything we cannot supply that way we tell you about before you order.
Will BR-MLXE-8-FAN work in my server?
Send us the server model or service tag and we will confirm before you order. Part numbers alone do not always settle it: firmware revision and platform generation matter, and this is the check that prevents a return.
Do you accept purchase orders and quote at volume?
Yes. We quote against a purchase order and hold the price for the quote period, with tiered rates at quantity. Net terms are available once the account is approved.
